Hi,
The director invested ₹2 crore in December 2025. Initially, it was planned to show the amount as an unsecured loan. However, he now wants to treat ₹80 lakh of that amount as equity by increasing the authorised share capital from ₹20 lakh to ₹1 crore. He also wants to show ₹80 lakh as paid-up share capital in FY 2025–26. Is it possible to increase the authorised share capital now?

Hello,

Not legally possible. To show these in 25-26 you have to increase authorised share capital and do allotment back dated.
