E-CSIN

I have generated e-CSIN when the guidelines came, in December 2019.

My DIR-12 was filed in July 2019 at the time of appointment. At that time, there was no e-CSIN.

Now, I would like to resign from my Company, then, am I required to generate new e-CSIN and mention it on my resignation letter OR the e-CSIN that was generated earlier is to be mentioned on resignation letter ? Kindly confirm please.

Also, is e-CSIN mandatory to put it on resignation letter ? Request to accord inputs please.

as i understand Ecsin is to track your employment details. the ecsin generated contains details of your current job. so you can quote the one generated in december. the system will not allow to generate one more for same company. now for appointment you will need to generate new ecsin. hope i am correct.

Sir,

Please look into the following sentence which was given by the Institute for ecsin. So you have to generate new ecsin for cessation and quote the same in your resignation letter.

 

Members entering into or ceasing to be in employment as Company Secretary (KMP) on or after 1st October, 2019, shall mandatorily be required to generate eCSIN and Quote the same on the respective consent / resignation 

letter, which is required to be attached with e-form DIR-12.

I have generated E-CSIN already in the manner laid down by Institute. I have read the same and accordingly done the proceedings.

Hi,

You are not required to generate new e-CSIN since you are already generated e-CSIN for that company. You need to mention the e-CSIN (already generated) in the resignation letter. 

FYI... You need to update your e-CSIN (already generated) after resignation in the website https://ecsin.icsi.edu/.
