Form ADT-1

Dear All

In case of appointment of statutory auditors, if it is proprietorship firm, the Form is accepting the details only if we select, category of auditor as "individual"

If we select category of auditor as "auditor's firm", it throws error in PAN as the PAN of proprietorship firm and CA will be same

Any body is facing such issue

firm doesnt mean CA Firm, it means a partnership firm, for all Proprietorships, it will always be individual, select firm only if partnership firm and LLP, only which case pan will be a firm pan and different from individual auditor

That is the only option to make the compliance

Statutory auditor, having proprietorship firm, will issue audit report on letterhead of  proprietorship firm and also will sign as proprietor of his firm but the Form reporting the appointment to MCA will not show the firm name

In V2 Form, this was not the case
