Dear members,

I have a question on profit sharing in LLP, can a profit sharing s=ratio be different from capital contribution . i.e., capital 50.50 and profit sharing 95.5.

Yes, Profit Sharing can be different from Contribution ratio. Profit Sharing ratio is what a partner takes home and Capital is what a partner contributes. Further, Capital decides the ownership. Both the factors are totally independent of each other.

Thnak you for your response, is it an understanding between partner or any basis for profit sharing?
