Dear Memebers,

What is the appropriate stamp duty for reconstitution of LLP Agreement in Karnataka. We have paid Rs 1000/- at the time of incorporation as per the partnership deed.

Should we again need to pay additional stamp duty on each change in LLP Agreement. I have read some where in this forum that Rs 200/- is enough for LLP Agreement which is confirmed by the Registrar of LLP. Then is it enough if i pay stamp duty of Rs 100 for Reconstitution of LLP Agreement.

I request the members to give theor views

Thanks & Regards

Dear All,

I paid 2000 Rs. on the initial agreement and paid Rs.100 for supplemental agreement. But it comes for resubmission saying that the supplementary agreement stamp duty is less / the stamp duty remaining for Rs.900/- is require.

On what basis stamp duty will be fixed in the state of Karnataka.

Rs 1000 is the current rate under Karnataka Stamp Act.
