We are looking for a Joint Partner level (LLB + CS) MALE candidate for Corporate Advisory - Hyderabad location (preferably local candidates).

JOINT PARTNER (Corporate)
Qualifications and experience:
1. A three/five year law degree from a reputed university with a good academic record
2. 7-10 years experience in the corporate practice of a well reputed law firm(s), experience in good companies with some experience of law firm background also welcome
3. Not a frequent job hopper ( not more than a maximum of 3 changes in jobs)
4. The following will be desirable/added advantage
a. Company secretary, though law degree should be the first priority
b. Overseas work experience
Knowledge areas
1. Good knowledge of company law, FEMA, FDI, SEBI and RBI regulations, Competition law and policy
2. Working knowledge of the Contract Act, Constitution
3. Deep understanding of at least 2 areas of corporate practice (Food, Packaging Commodities, IT Act, PE etc)
4. Independently handled large or medium sized transactions with a team of associates, worked on joint ventures, M&A, private equity, due diligence, agreements.
5. Able to independently formulate opinions in corporate law areas
6. Drafting and negotiating of agreements on the above subjects
7. Able to draft a due diligence report with inputs from associates, can plan and execute a due diligence including compiling check lists and co-ordinate activity
8. Up to date knowledge of current case law on corporate and changing regulations
9. Knowledge of Hindi and preferably one regional language
10. Speaker at conferences or author of articles in legal magazines, internal newsletters
Other skills
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills, can make presentations before third party audiences on legal subjects
2. Able to train associates in some legal topics
3. Good networking with peers, clients
4. Ability to deal with clients and potential clients independently
5. Managing and oversight of a team of young lawyers, training and working with them
6. Analytical ability- able to analyse laws and apply the same for practical use
7. Able to offer clients crisp but practical solutions, quick to respond to client's needs
8. Good team player when required
9. High level of integrity, honesty and commitment to work ethics
