Dear Friends,

One of my client company's Foreign Director is filing DIR 6 for change of residence. He has a multiple entry business visa to India.

As per FAQ on DIN on MCA Website, such documents may be attested by a Public Notary in India or a Practicing Professional, when he is in India. Am I correct or should I compulsory insist on Foreign Notary even when he executes the document in India?

Please reply, as the matter is slightly urgent.

Thanks

Would Public Notary not do? Is apostile compulsory? MCA is not replying to said ticket properly.

Please note that it is mandatory to apostil the foreign national documents.

We also do the same as we do the compliance's for foreign national only.

Thanks for the prompt reply. One last query - for change of address, please help with the documents that will have to be apostiled:

1. Passport with Visa
2. Proof of Address

Should Photograph be attested as well?

Thanks

only passport and address proof should be apostil.

Please note that both mentioned documents shall contain English translation also duly apostil.

No need to apostil the photo but it should be self attested.
