Dear All

Please provide procedure for obtaining FSSAI Central License and share
the experience on availing such Licenses.

Further please share good consultant having expertise in Food related
businesses.

How to Apply for License/Registration
1. For License:
FBO's are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID and Mobile Number
which should be kept active.
For Registration:
FBO's are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID OR Mobile Number
3. The name of the FBO should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in
the License.
4. On successful submission of application, the system will generate a unique
Reference Id for the application.
5. Take a print out of the "Acknowledgment" and "Online Application Form" and
attach the Demand Draft for the fee (if payment mode is Demand Draft) and
supported documents (Refer Document Checklist) required as part of the
application and submit the application to your State Authority or Regional Office of
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, within  15 days  from the date of
submission of application online
 
Documents to be enclosed for
New Application for License to Central / State Licensing Authority
1. Form-B duly completed and signed (in duplicate) by the proprietor/  partner or the authorised   signatory
(mandatory for all).
2. Blueprint/layout plan of the processing unit showing the dimensions in  metres/square metres and operation-wise
area allocation (mandatory for manufacturing and processing units only).
3. List of Directors with full address and contact details (mandatory for companies only)
4. Name and List of Equipments and Machinery along with the number, installed capacity and horse power used
(mandatory for manufacturing and processing units only).
5. Photo ID and address proof issued by Government authority of Proprietor/Partner/Director(s)/Authorized
Signatory. (optional)      
6. List of food category desired to be manufactured. (In case of manufacturers).
7. Authority letter with name and address of responsible person nominated by the manufacturer along with
alternative responsible person indicating the powers vested with them viz assisting the officers in inspections,
collection of samples, packing & dispatch. (mandatory for manufacturing and processors).
8. Analysis report (Chemical & Bacteriological) of water to be used as ingredient in food from a recognized/ public
health laboratory to confirm the portability (mandatory  only  for manufacturing and processing units only).
9. Proof of possession of premises. (Sale deed/ Rent agreement/ Electricity bill, etc.) (optional).
10. Partnership Deed/Affidavit/Memorandum & Articles of Association towards the constitution of the firm.
(optional).
11. Copy of certificate obtained under Coop Act - 1861/Multi State Coop Act - 2002 in case of Cooperatives. (wherever
applicable).
12. NOC from manufacturer (mandatory for Re-labellers and Re-packers)
13. Food Safety Management System plan or certificate (if any).
14. Source of milk or procurement plan for milk including location of milk collection cen

Dear All

thanks for the Response and advise.

My  specific required requirement is FSSAI  license  for Import of food products. As there are new products iam looking for a consultant who will examine the product ingredients and advise  as we can import or not if not what is the specific quantum or ration of ingredients are allowed for import.
if any additional testing or NOC to be obtained form the ministry.

Please share any info in this regard or a consultant.

Hello,

My query is same as of Mr Sai Kumar, even i am looking for a consultant in Delhi/NCR Region preferably Gurgaon. Please if anyone have any idea about the consultant who is quite knowledgeable if FSSAI Compliances.Please revert asap.
