Dear Member,

Can anyone please share a format of board resolution to be given for nominate a representative on behalf of company to apply license to food safety and standard authority of India (FSSAI).

Its urgent please.

"RESOLVED THAT an application be made for obtaining State License under the “Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006” for its branch/factory/office situated at .................................................

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. ............,, Manager/Director of the Company be and is hereby authorized to apply for the License under the “Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006” for the ............. Branch of the Company as mentioned above and sign various applications and documents and do all such necessary acts and deeds as may be required to obtain License on behalf of the Company.”

Dear Ms. Gayatri, Sarvan ji right, but i need some more addition in the resolution as per FSSAI Act. as below:
 

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. ..................... S/o Shri .................... Residing- ...................... an employee of company be and is hereby nominated as the person in charge/Nominee of Manufacturing unit of ..................(Company name) situated at ....................., for the purpose of Food Safety License and shall be responsible and liable for food safety or any contravention of the Act and rules/regulations or directions issued thereunder. The person shall take all such steps as may be necessary to prevent the commission by the Company of any offence under and comply with the provisions of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the Rules and Regulations made thereunder.”

I suggest do not insert it if employee is authorized for it
