Requirement of common seal on board resolution of the company

whether common seal required on resolution for opening account with the bank?

No, unless the concerned Bank insists. However, the Bank can be convinced that the Common Seal is now not mandatory.

 

The Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015 which received the Assent from the President of India on 25.05.2015, inter alia, excluded the words “and a common seal” in section 9 of the Companies Act, 2013.
