maximum limit of stipend payable

Is there any minimum or maximum stipend payable by an organisation in any Act?

The Instiute has fixed the minimum stipend to Rs. 2000.I don't think
there is any maximum limit of stipend.

Thanks for the reply. But i want to know is there any law which prescribes specific limits for payment of stipend in any kind of profession in India.

Each profession has its own rules and regulations...
 
If u want in general u can go with Apprentice act.

Dear Vidya

Such issues regarding stipend etc. are governed by the rules made by the body which regulates a Profession which in our case is ICSI. There is no law or Act for such matters.

Dear Vidya,

There is no Such kind of limit on Stipend. some of Company like ITC
paying 15 k.

Monthly stipend

The existing monthly stipend rates as recommended by the Central Apprenticeship Council and notified by the Govt., of India vide Notification No. GSR 375E effective from 8th January, 2008, are as follows:

The significance of the Apprenticeship Training Scheme is that the Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education reimburses 50% of stipendiary amount to the training establishments through the respective regional Boards. However the training establishments are at liberty to pay stipend at higher rates than the minimum prescribed amount.
