Could somebody guide me as to how to number the resolution in minutes because usually we write item number as we'd been doing earlier. So, does that item wise numbering is sufficient or we have to do something else?

Dear Mr Rohit Kumar,
Numbering of resolution and numbering of minutes are different things. You can continue with the current practice of numbering of minutes as you have written. But for numbering of minutes you can refer the SS-1, where it's been exemplified.

I have seen that many are numbering the resolutions according to the items numbers in the agenda and minutes which I dont think is proper. The first item in agenda and minutes is 1. election of chairman then 2nd  2. Leave of absence and third 3.  noting of minutes and no resolution had been passed in 1 2 and 3rd item it is only in 4th item the resolution is passed and which I think shall be numbered as 1 or 1/2016 or 1/2015-16
