Estoppel AFFIDAVIT vs Notary document - Foreign director - MCA

Dear All,

We are adding Foreign director into the existing Pvt. Ltd. company. This query is regarding Foreign director document, do we need to do Estoppel AFFIDAVIT or Notarised document, for uploading with MCA. 

Is there any guidance note or advisory issued by MCA in this behalf in terms of  which documents must be uploaded?
