Loan from Shareholders_Form DPT-3

Dear Members,

One of our clients, which is a private company, has taken a loan from shareholders. The loan is exceeding the limit of one hundred per cent. of the aggregate of the paid up share capital, free reserves and securities premium account. All other conditions with respect to maximum limit in respect of deposits is complied by the Company.

Kindly let us know whether such amount should be shown in Form DPT-3 under the head, 'Loan From Shareholders' or 'Deposit Details'

Correct me if i am wrong,
1. there is no head in DPT-3 w.r.t loan from shareholders.


2. Any amount from shareholders whether or not exceed 100% limit shall be considered as deposit and same will be reported in dpt-3

3. However if deposit is accepted by Pvt. Company from shareholders within the limits of 100% than company didn't need to comply with clause a to e
