Dear Experts,

Please advise on following query:

Initially A Pvt.Ltd has filed CRA-2 (Appointment of Cost Auditor) form for financial year 2017-18 considering nature of appointment as "ORIGINAL" under point 2(e) in the said form. However post filing the said form, the Company has got NCLT order for Change in FY from Apr-Mar to Jan-Dec and thereby following only 9 months period for 2017 and accordingly new CRA-2 form was filed considering "Others" under point 2(e).

Further Company has followed JAN -DEC as financial year from 2018 onwards. However while filing CRA-2 for FY 2018 (JAN - DEC), we are getting an error that - "Multiple filing for original appointment of cost auditor is not allowed for the same financial year". We have selected Nature of Intimation of appointment as Cost Auditors - “ORIGINAL” under point 2(e) for this year.

We have also raised complaint to MCA on this and got reply as under:

Please note this is as per MCA guidelines and we are not authorized to make any changes in this regard. You are requested to please contact eGovn Cell, MCA and seek necessary guidance for the reported case.

Kindly share your experience and suggest how to proceed on this.
