LLP incorporation- Bar council permission- Legal/Law firm

Good Evening everyone,

I.m in the process of incorporating a LLP having objects of Legal/Advocate/attorney.

In this regard please confirm is it necessary to obtain a prior permission of Bar council? In this LLP both the partners are Advocates.

Yes, as per my opinion you need to obtain noc from the council.

In my opinion there is no need for any approval from the Bar to start a law firm even it is LLP.

Actually if the name has a word ADVOCATE then its required

Dear members

A person has approached for incorporation of a LLP with Law / legal professional activities as principal business activities. Does it require any NOC for name approval / other registration from the Bar Council of India.
