Dear Friends,

Pls let me know what is difference between master creation of data form and corporate action form of NSDL & CDSL.

Main difference

Master Creation Form(MCF)
The Form which contains the details of the issuer, Securities to be
issued,Facevalue, Directors,Compliance Officer for the purpose of
Creation of ISIN in the records of NSDL/CDSL

Corporate Action Form(CAF)
On Creation of ISIN, CAF is used by the RTA to credit the benefit of
Shares/Dividends to the Beneficiary CLID/Bank Accounts of the
Investors.

Master creation data is the application form for getting ISIN no from NSDL/ CDSL but corporate Action means any activity done by or on behalf of the company for processing the Allotment of Share, Dividend etc by RTA.
