UNABLE TO FILE DIR-3 KYC / DIN SURRENDER

One of my client has two DINs. He appointed as director in one Company with newly/latest DIN no. Both DIN's linked to his PAN number. 

When we tried to file his KYC (for both DIN's) system sent an error message that he associated with another DIN. Due to this we not filed his KYC and both DIN''s are deactivated.

Even if the client is ready to pay penalties for KYC..system send same error message and we cant file DIR-5 for din surrender as it is deactivated.

Is any one come across this situation??

Yeah I have the same problem. I guess we have to do kyc on both din and then only try for surrender of one din

I tried for both DIN numbers.... 

may be the new DIR-3 KYC will accept...at least for collect penalty.

Successfully filed KYC for latest DIN..but while filing for old DIN form capturing passport no and sending error message while prescrutiny. And also dsc not registering with old DIN.

Update:

In another case, we filed DIR-3 KYC for old DIN (the director have two dins and not associated with any company with old din. But appointed as director with new din). 

Still we not able to file kyc for new din but the system mapped his new DIN details with old din without fling DIR-5.

I'm not able to file dir5 for surrender of duplicate din as the old din is deactiavted due to non filing of dir3 kyc.

DIR3 KYC is already filed for the new DIN. How to go about this. Kindly advise if anyone has done it

You can't. Unless and until kyc filing for old din. Am facing same problem. We need to file kyc for both dins. The worst thing is u cant use same dsc/mobile no./mail id/ passport no. for old din.

The problem arises not with the passport no. but also with aadhar number. You cannot mention in the form that the director does not have a passport or aadhar. So i guess the best alternative is to take an affidavit from the director stating that the form is being filled without the passport no and aadhar no for the limited purpose of complying with KYC requirements and to surrender one DIN.

No, this has not happened in my Director case. I don't think the system will automatically map the outgoing DIN details to the retained DIN unless we file a form DIR-5. And we are unable to file DIR-5 because one DIN is still pending for KYC. And that DIN kyc is not happening because of duplicity in mobile nos. e-mail id, passport no. aadhar nos. etc. So there is a real quandary there.

In my case, kyc filed for old DIN and it automatically mapped with the new DIN. Now am not filing kyc for NEW DIN and DIR-5 for surrender. 

I raised tickets and as usual no reply from MCA.

Filed the DIR3-KYC for old DIN and not able file DIR3-KYC for new DIN as the similar PAN error is an issue.

Further, DIR5 cannot be prepared until new DIN KYC is filed.

Called MCA helpdesk and they are out of solutions to this issue.

Need to wait and see if MCA comes out with a solution to this duplicated DIN.
