Hi,

One of my clients want to enter into shares trading through their Company. They are basically service providing companies so far.

1. Can they open a demat account?
2. Any restrictions as far trading daily viz NBFC etc.,?

Please advise,

Thanks in advance,

a private limited company can do trading in shares. But, such activity falls with in the purview of residuary non-banking finance company activities. you need to apply to RBI
