CLARIFICATION FROM MCA: Amendment to Schedule III to the Companies Act, 2013 vide MCA Notification GSR. 207(E) dated 24th March 2021 mandates companies to round off the figures appearing in the Financial Statements depending upon their total income. However, if the companies provide absolute figures in e-forms ie. AOC-4, the same shall not be treated as incorrect certification by the Professionals.

It means, we can fill figures in AOC-4 in both ways i.e rounding off and without rounding off.Please correct me if i am wrong.

It is better to present figures exactly as appearing in the financial statements ie where figures are given in thousand say 10.50 then give in AOC-4 as Rs.10,500/- and the like
