This happens when you are doing KYC of a director for the very first time after allotment of DIN. In that case you have to file KYC e-form instead of KYC web.

my understanding is that each director / DIN holder needs to create an account / register on the MCA V3 portal giving his email id in caps, and have a password. while doing do u have to feed the OTPs which u get on your mobile and email id. However this OTP never comes or there is a delay , time allowed is 30 minutes .   I have been experiencing delays in getting the OPTs.  Finally when I got the OTP for a client, i  got a message from MCA that "there is mismatch in the details" - without telling what the mismatch is about !!

If you succeed in creating the account, the go to FO services and here u ASSOCIATE the DSC from the account so created fro the client. each is unique !

Hope my understanding is correct

We should able to check "Whether DIR 3 KYC filed or not without OTP"

I had given suggestion to Ministry related to DIR 3 KYC as under, if you find it reasonable, Pls send mail to ministry for DIR 3 KYC as under:

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

As per the requirement of law, Every Year DIN KYC  is compulsory for every DIN holder. In addition to KYC documents, Every DIN holder also requires to provide mobile and email OTP for KYC.

Every Year as a consultant, We inform all the DIN holders for KYC Process and due date of the same.

DIN KYC only needs to be done only once in a year, and all DIN holders don't create login id on the portal due to numerous issues like forgot password or password expired etc.Thus DIN holders prefer to do the KYC process through their consultant and other professionals.

Issues Faced:

Any person can only know whether KYC is done or not for any particular DIN after taking mobile and email OTP in case of web-based KYC process or at the time of submission of DIR-3 KYC Form in case of Form based KYC is applicable.

Sometimes a person is a director in more than one company and work of different companies is being handled by the different consultants. Hence, All consultants demand OTP and after entering OTP they come to know that the KYC process is already done by another consultant. 

 

Solution can be provided for ease of doing Business:

1. To know status whether DIR 3 KYC for DIN is filed or not. There should not be a requirement of OTP from mobile and E-mail. It should be seen only based on DIN only.

2. Give a simple tab/link on MCA portal to generate OTP for DIR 3 Web without any login on MCA so that they can comply with DIR 3 KYC easily. because DIN holders generally visit the MCA portal for KYC once a year.

3. Send message (SMS) or Email on registered mobile number and Email id of the DIN holders as reminder for DIN KYC frequently like Income Tax reminder for IT Return.

We request you to consider our suggestion on priority basis as fees for non filing of DIR 3 KYC is Rs.5000 and we can easily see the status of  DIR 3 KYC by entering DIN only.
