branch office outside india

are there any provisions (under fema or any other regulation) governing the establisment of branch office outside india by an indian company.

kindly give your views..

aarthi, i do agree that the foreign laws are applicable. but there are some provisions governing the establishment of branch office outside india. i have found some regulations / restrictions in this regard in B7 - pages.12 and 13 of the master circular for export of goods and services. am also exploring for more......
