In the beneficial ownership declaration, % of shares is important.

If the company / body corporate is holding shares more than 25%, we need to give the details of senior managing official of such company body corporate. In other cases if the holding more than 25% is with natural person, then details of such person.

If you read carefully the note A (i, ii & iii) and clarification given under it, you will understand correctly.

usually the person from Bank give all the forms alongwith beneficial declaration while opening a current account. give him also the shareholding pattern even he is not demanding it with percentage of share held by shareholders.
