How to know IEC File Number for online application

Dear All,

While searching the status of the IEC Status, there is a mandatory field for IEC File Number. 

We have filed the application online but did not receive anything IEC File Number.

If anyone has done this,Please suggest how to proceed.

Dear all,

I tried to check the status by using PAN. But I am getting the error "IEC Status not Available / Invalid File Number"

When I tried from "http://dgft.gov.in/" it is asking for file number but there is no file number generated during online payment. I have only DGFT Ref No, Ecom Ref No. BID Number.

Pls suggest how to proceed in this case.

In http://dgft.gov.in/, Chennai (at the bottom of the page), application status query, Bangalore.

If you have submitted application online through new system, the File no. is generated after clicking on submit button. Making of payment do not mean you have submitted the application.

Dear Madhur Ji,

When I try to submit the application in login page, the request is not processing at all. 

If you have done the IEC Online, please guide me how to tackle the issue.

In the login screen we have two options to submit the application.

1. Submit application with DSC

2. Submit application without DSC.

If I click either of the options, the page is not processing. There is no response at all.

Yes. But the page was still. 

Will it be a Java error.?

No, because after clicking submit button the right side window, the message for successful submission appears along with file no. and key no. If the same didnt happen with you, please contact the dgft help desk at chennai.

Dear Members,

After applying online, do we even have to courier a self addressed envelope along with the online generated application Form??

And within how many days can we get the IEC??

And can we digitally sign with Class 2 Digital Signature??

Madam,

If we are digitally signing the application, we need not submit anything.

If we are not digitally signing the application, then we need to submit the electronically generated application to the concerned DGFT.

While applying for IEC online and after making online payment from SBI the Bib no is generated has 2alphabets followed by 6digit number. 

While trying to validate the payment status, it does accept alphabets in the bib number.

Have anybody faced a similar issue? Kindly help on this. Thanks.
