Statutory registers

Dear Friends,

A small co. was incorporated in 2011. She now wants to prepare all the statutory registers and share certificates. I want to ask:

Whether the company can maintain all the statutory registers like, member registers, Register of Charges, register of Directors, register of allotment in excel as per formats given under the companies Act, 2013 and make the share certificate in house in word format and get it printed on a  thick paper and issue to the shareholders after signature.

 

As I know the common seal is no longer required to be kept by the company under the Companies Act., 2013.

Can anyone please share their views..   ,
