Applying for DIN

Dear Members,

If a person has no DIN … and needs to appoint him as director in public ltd company… does company requires to apply for din before proposing before nrc and board or can we place proposal before nrc and attach nrc recommendation to dir 3 form while applying DIN … or we need to obtain din first then place recommendation before nrc and board .

In rule 9 related to sec 153 , in list of documents applying for DIN , it is written board resolution recommendation g a candidature …whole confusion arose from this line …
