Elevation of CEO to Director-cum-CEO

Dear members

In a Private Limited, the person who is currently the CEO of the Company is proposed to be made the Director of the Company, while continuing to be the CEO of the Company

1) Can a person hold both positions - Director & CEO at the same time

2) I suppose only DIR-12 would have to be filed post obtaining the DIN
