Credit hours for Practising Company Secretary

Dear Member,

Please let me know how much credit hours can a practising comapny secretary gets when he attends any seminar in ICSI and also let me know hoe much hours to be completed in one year for members also and for practising members also.

For members 10 credit hours needed and depending upon the ICSI that how much they credited hours to you means depdn on the concerned Seminars.

PCS - 15 hrs per year overall 50 hrs in 3 year terms
Member - 10 hrs per year overall 35 hrs in 3 years
above 60+ years - overall 5 hrs
Sr.Member- credit hours not requires

I have a query what is definition of BLOCK- in  the below mentioned mail . What will be the status of Block , where a member after 1 years of service at an organisation switches to other, after a gap of certain period and then form 32 is filed by the new organisation,( I believe the block will again be counted from the day  fresh e-form 32 is filed). Please provide some authentic source of information in this regard.

Compulsory Attendance of Professional Development Programmes by the Members

 

The Council of the Institute at its 200th Meeting held on March 18, 2011 at New Delhi amended the Guidelines for Compulsory Attendance of Professional Development Programmes by the Members to provide as under:

 

 

  1.  

Min. number of PCH to be acquired by Members in Employment (i.e. members in whose name Form 32 has been filed to work as Company Secretary under the provisions of Sec. 383A of the Companies Act, 1956)

10 PCH in each year or 35 PCH in ablock[a1]   of three years w.e.f April 01, 2011
