CSBF  LIFE MEMBERS UPDATES

As per  Febraury 2013  Chartered Secretary  journal  59  new  members  joined the fund and totalling 9949 Life members

We are yet to  reach 10000 members

Recently held   cultural evening at  Air Force Auditorium, New Delhi  ( 12-1-2013) -   Important highlights  -  launching scheme for financial assitance to new Members   and  Contribution by ICSI-SIRC and ICSI - NIRC   source  Chartered Secretary journal February, 2013

With a view to encourage new Members of ICSI who are yet to settle in their career to become members of CSBF, a New Scheme was launched with the sponsorship by Jaypee Group through the courtesy of CS Harish K Vaid. Under the Scheme, the Life Membership Fee of CSBF for such Members shall be provided out of initial donation of Rs. 3.00 lacs provided by the Jaypee Group, which financial assistance may be returned by the beneficiaries once they settle down in their career so that the same could be used to help other similar cases. Encouraged by the said announcement, a few other Member participants also announced financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 2.35 lacs for similar revolving fund to be created for this purpose. The modalities of these Schemes are being worked out

We are  thankful  to Jaypee Group  to lend their support  for such common cause.

We are also thankful to Vice President ICSI  Mr.Harish Vaid   for taking such initative for common cause.

ICSI- SIRC  AND ICSI-NIRC   CONTRIBUTION TO  CSBF:

CS S. S. Marthi, the then Chairman of the Southern India Regional Council presented a cheque for Rs.7,43,566/-, generated from the musical nite organised by SIRC of ICSI at Chennai on November 11, 2012. CS Rajiv Bajaj, the then Chairman of the Northern India Regional Council of ICSI also presented a cheque for Rs.8,64,657/- being 5% of NIRC's surplus for the year 2011-12 to CSBF on this occasion

Monthly around  200 new members are joining but hardly a very few are   joining the CSBF  fund.  With the help of revolving fund, we can add more number of members to join the fund.  Once more members,  CSBF committee will increase the compensation for CS in distress.  Let us hope for adding more members in the near future

We also request all new members of ICSI   to come forward  and to join Life Member of Company Secretary Benevolent Fund to help our fraternity

Let  us join to contribute for revolving fund.

Service to people will equal to Service to God

Best Regards

we cannot make it compulsory then all income tax exemption will not be available and  csbf has to pay huge amoutn for its income generated every year.  Thiis aspect, i have already deliberated with icsi head quarter

My suggestion is that those who want to contribute for this revolving fund, they can do so volunarily.  On my part i am ready to contribute  Rs.2000/-  to the revolving fund and once they formally  announce, i will send to icsi

When corporates are ready to step up revolving fund, each member can come forward to contribute for the revolving fund, so that minimum amount will be available to members who are distress.  Now out of 32000  only 9949  are members.

Let us join and contribute for the revolving fund.   Each drop in the ocean will be counted.

This is for your information please

Best regards

Like School alumni, make it compulsory to be a part of CSBF. Tell ICSI to charge Rs. 1,500/- while charging for acs membership and transfer this sum to CSBF. This way all members, who get membership automatically become members of CSBF
