Invitation to Inaugural Session of Computer Science Teachers Association - India

Dear members,

I hope this email finds you well. I'm thrilled to extend our warmest invitation to the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) India Chapter Inaugural Session on 28th July 2023 at 1800 hrs (6 PM) IST.

 

The CSTA India chapter has the mission to grow the community of computer science educators and give them a platform to exchange ideas and resources that will promote pedagogical practices. The Chapter also aims to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in both the teaching and learning of computing in the K-12 environment. This includes exploring strategies for increasing access to resources and support for underserved communities and increasing the diversity of computer science teachers through professional development programs.

 
The inaugural event will feature a short address by the leadership board of the Chapter followed by a special guest lecture by Dr. Giri Narasimhan, Professor of Computer Science at Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA.
