Dear Regis,

Is this project still active?

Google repository will become read only in two days and I haven't seen any alternative to the date.

Thank you for your feedback

Rosario:

Have you received any feedback on this. It does appear that the project is no longer supported.

No feedback whatsoever.

Yes I think the project has not been supported since last May.

Hi Everyone,

In my opinion, CSipSimple is the best sip project on android platform.
Currently, it seems not supported anymore, how pity it is.

Since google code will closed in the near future, is there anyone wants to fork it to github or somewhere? at least left a open path for future contributors.
We all don't want to just sit there and watch it die.

CSipSimple has tons of active users but relatively few contributor compares to other open source project.
Maybe some of contributors can establish a foundation and publish free version and premium version.

I am not a technical guy but i'd like to help if so.

Any idea?

Hello everyone!

Well, I have tried to export, but github denies because it has to many open issues. When I go home, I'll clone and create a new repository.

Hi, Rafael

Thanks for reply!

Actually, I had encountered the same issue, I can not fork it from google code directly.
If you search on github, there are about a hundred repositories forked from CSipSimple ( one is mine ), and I think https://github.com/r3gis3r/CSipSimple is the original repository from the author r3gis3r, but it says: "no pull-requests here". I don't know is this repository updated to latest nightly build ( 1.02.03 r2470 ? ) or not though.

Maybe we can wait for few days and see what community says.
If this project eventually become an orphan, the next step may be not to fork the repository but create a totally new one.

We need more folks who interested in and better familiar with android and pjsip.

Really glad to see there are still someone also concerning this.

Cheers!

Hi, Henry!

You're right! Let's wait a few time and see what may we do.

I'm studying pjsip and want to help, but as my Android skills are worthless, alone it may be hard.

Cheers!
