IBM Day - 24th Sept. Demo Submission Deadline - 10th Sept, Website - http://cse.iitkgp.ac.in/conf/IBM/
Please submit your demo proposal by tomorrow - 10th September. A one-two page proposal would be sufficient.
Please also find (attached) the list of demo proposals accepted last year. Would give you an idea of what is expected.
Total prize money - 30 K . All selected demo would get participation certificate.
Submit a strong proposal and make IBM Day a success.

In this day every year we have a demo session where research scholars/ students present demo of their research work. We request you to kindly encourage your students to participate in the session and make it a success. For details, kindly check the "Call for Demo" section in the website link. Kindly note that there has to be an initial submission of a 2-page demo proposal for which the deadline is September 10th, 2016. Please fwd this to whoever else you think may be relevant to this (across the institute). Kindly note that demo has to be the outcome of some research work by the group in areas of interest not restricted to :
Hardware / software systems with significant scope for societal impact in India.
Mobile and eCommerce applications.
Distributed, Big Data Systems.
Artificial intelligence, cognitive systems and machine learning.
Internet of things.
Digital education platforms.
Applications of GIS systems, satellite imagery etc.
IR and recommendation systems
NLP/Linguistic application systems
Embedded applications
Image processing and graphics applications
Hardware Security and Cryptography applications
Formal Verification Tools
The top demos will receive prizes and certificates - the total prize money is 25k.
