Dear CSI Member,
The second issue [Vol. 1, No. 2] of Visleshana, the newsletter of CSI SIG BDA has been published at http://www.csi-sig-bda.org/newsletters.html along with the previous issue. This issue includes interesting articles on Cloud Adoption for Big Data, Mining CRM data, and Fitting Distributions to Big Data. It also includes event details and an interview with the renowned Prof. B. Yegnanarayana. From a 1~1 meeting with the then Nobel Prize in Physics winner, Sir,CV RAMAN to guiding Prof. Anant Agarwal of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for his senior project in IIT Madras, Prof. Yegnanarayana has done it all, during a glorious teaching career spanning over five decades.
