custom header for images/js/css files

Maybe i'm doing something wrong here but i can't seem to get this to
send custom headers for images/css/js
Looks like the custom header is being sent for the main "Get" request,
but it doesn't seem to be firing the ProtocolHandlerOnBeginTransaction
method for imagescss/js that are being inculded as a part of the main
html page..
The main page has links to js files in the headers...e.g.
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="mysite/
YUI_calendar-min_251.js?OpenPage" charset="UTF-8"></script>
