PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
| § Leads QA Analyst team on specific activities: test planning, test preparation and scripting, and test execution according to defined best practices, standards and procedures. § Manages a team of at least 2-4 resources § Provide technical leadership/supervision for the application specific creation, design, execution, documentation, and maintenance of test plans/cases (automated and manual testing). § Assesses risk to quality service based upon results of verification and validation. § Design and implement test strategy and develop estimates for complex test projects § Create and prioritize test cases for large/complex projects, including identification of risks and dependencies § Coordinate test case review sessions with business users and development teams § Report software defects; raises issues/concerns regarding issue prioritization § Coordinate activities of multiple teams, including but not limited to development and project management § Mentor testing team § Conduct interviews; provide feedback and technical training § Leads/participates in all phases of the IT Project Delivery Framework, including review of complex business and functional requirements for area of responsibility. § Monitors adherence to established test standards and procedures. § Lead efforts for continuous learning of client and customer operational flow, use and interdependencies of data and products § Responsible for verifying compliance with testing procedures and for test strategy development. |

QUALIFICATIONS:

| § Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology a related field or equivalent experience and or training. |
| § 10+ years of experience in software testing/Quality Assurance § 3+ years of experience with testing tools (MS Visual Studio, Team System, QC, Test Director, TFS, Mercury tools, SQL etc.) § Strong software analysis skills § Advanced understanding of Quality Management and “best practices” with regard to testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurement § Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycles § Advanced abilities with use of reference materials and other resources to complete tasks § Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings § Strong customer service focus § Sound business knowledge of airline applications § Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities § Advanced skill with Microsoft Office software § Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment § Airlines experience is mandatory.
