The Farewell affair

While im waiting for os image to download for my pi, I ran some calculations on the blackmail regarding 'farewell'.

Assuming each class of 3rd years (engineering) has about 60 students, we have total 60 * 6 (2 for cse and ece, 1 each for it and eee) which amounts to 360 students.

Collecting 450 from each student will give lump sum of 1.62 lakh.

Taking account into any error of approximation it will be atleast equal to 1.5 lakh.

Hmmmm is it just me or that looks a bit much for a farewell party (I dont think they have booked 5 star suite for everyone) and I wonder where remaining money will go.
