I'm gth676n and I have been waiting for the cluster for 4 days (just
like you) so don't blame me. I have been having the EXACT same
problems as you and have simply kept qsub -I running in the hopes that
sometime the cluster might actually be freed. I have run the command
multiple times over the last 4 days and it's always been busy so I
figured I might keep it running continuously this time until someone
finally frees the cluster but that has not been the case.
the cluster has not been freed the entire time i've had qsub -I
running over the last 4 days so something else is obviously the
problem. I have just quit out of qsub -I and tried again and it still
is not working, so it is DEFINITELY not my fault.
if i were you, i would ask the users ashringa, mjain8, ukhan6, and
kbeedkar about their use of the cluster.. i will stop trying to run
qsub -I tonight and hopefully after the HW deadline ends it will be
freed. Otherwise there is just something wrong with the cluster.
