Job Description:
Experienced engineer working in Windows Based Software Deployments, Creation of Application Packages for remote deployment. Thorough Knowledge on Windows 7 admin level and user level. Ability to communicate with in the team and a good team player. Responsibilities includes, understanding the Retail Application deployment requirements, and help the team during the Large scale retail POS application deployment.

Required Skill Set:

At least 2 years MSI Packaging experience in a corporate Windows 7 platform
Working knowledge on VB Scripting for use in MSI Custom Actions.
Windows updates deployment to remote systems
Security updates deployment to remote systems
System Image Creation using ImageX, similar tool, for multiple distributed systems deployment
In depth Registry knowledge (32 and 64 bit), updating registry keys and modifications as needed
Knowledge on   Application profiling and Patch Management process
Perform quality assurance testing of packages
Familiarity with at least one deployment Tool (HPCA or BMC FootPrints Asset Core)
Knowledge on SQL and   creating SQL scripts for Database installation   and reloading database
