Jail Breaking an iPhone is the process of altering an operating system
such that we can able to install third party applications on the
iPhone which are not sold from the Apple’s store.Users started writing
their code to Jail Breaking an iPhone since Apple released it’s first
iPhone version.Apple strictly prohibits Jail Breaking an iPhone.In
every new version of it’s iOS it is going to increase the strength of
the Operating System such that the users cannot easily Jail Break an
iPhone.

Last month the Library of Congress ruled that Jail Breaking is exempt
from Digital Copyright laws says sfgate.This is a bit odd news for
Steve Jobs.

And it is also legal to unlock an iPhone with which we can change the
default carrier AT&T the exclusive iPhone carrier in the United
States.The alternative for AT&T is T-Mobile only which uses the GSM
cellular technology like AT&T where as Verizon and Sprint uses CDMA.

At the same time, Apple made unlocking an iPhone less attractive with
the new iPhone 4, which uses a SIM card that’s smaller than ones found
in other mobile phones.
