Pega Systems Interview/Test Tips

Dear Students,

Pega Recruitment drive will be held on Dec 13th 2013. Here are  few tips from seniors who cracked and joined Pega Systems.

WRITTEN TEST:

-Aptitude carries 15*2=30M and JAVA MCQ's (questions will be from SCJP) carries 15*1=15M (with Section wise cutoff)

TECH INTERVIEW:

-Questions on project work, Logical reasoning and puzzles & programmatic skills on language you choose (generally Java) 

HR Interview:

-Why pega even though you have CTS and Wipro

-Your goals

-Your strength and weakness

Basics of java and Data structers. general puzzels.

All the java questions will be of OCJP standard . OCJP Mock tests will be useful for clearing the written test.

Interviewers generally looks for  Java , Data Structures and Problem solving skills.

Java certificate and Project experience is an added advantage.

OCJP certification will help to get the job easily,! 

Few Sample Questions asked last time:

"1)Write code for post order traversal technique with out using recursion?

2)There are 8 apples but one apple weight is less.You are provided a weighing machine what is the least no of steps u can find out the apple 

3)What are run time exceptions how do you handle it?

4)There are two mugs of capacity 5 liter and 3 liter how do u give 4 litre of water to a customer if u have only these container you are provided with unlimited supply of water

5)What is the greatest accomplishment in your life?"

can i know topics in aptitude test.and which 3rd party is going to conduct the online exam.

Sir..just I have been certified as system architect...and pegasystems is about to come to my college....what sort of questions can i expect from the interview??will they ask us to write down programs..if yes...would they expect us to be very skilled programmer..am asking this because in pega tool,upto my knowledge there is not much to with coding....so i hope u would clarify my doubts sir..
