Hi,

Yes, I do have openssl installed on my machine. But, any task does not involve using openssl to solve it. You have to do all tasks using only java library. You can print similar outputs which you see using openssl. Please let me know the real reason why you need openssl, I may be able to answer your question better.

I apologize, I should have been more clear. We decided not to use Java because neither of us has a java development environment set up.

The project stated we could use any language - we decided to use Python, as that is on most modern linux os. Our program calls openssl and parses and displays the results. We'll have installation instructions in case Python is not installed. We can also take screenshots of the program running successfully on our machines as further proof.

Does that sound ok?

Its okay with us. Please do provide openssl install commands as well in your readme. I thought you decided to run only openssl shell commands to complete tasks which is very easy.
