BIG EMAIL FOR MARCH AND APRIL SERVICE

HELLO ALL! 

Here's the BIG change for March and April:

Individuals are starting to lead community service events and coordinate participation.  SO if you plan on signing up for an event, or have questions about it, check the monthly service calendar to see who coordinates that event/organization and contact them.  If you contact me for an event I don't coordinate, well I will not let you participate any longer... No, really, I will just direct you to those people.

Here's the list of what's going on in March and April:

(3) One thing I will say- St. Mark's Food Drive is an ongoing drive throughout lent.  This pantry is really low on food so we are helping them out.  Bring whatever can you can! Last day for the drive is Good Friday.

(4) A NEW PROGRAM WITH TERPS FOR LIFE IS SEEKING VOLUNTEER BABYSITTERS- contact Marc McCarthy at mtmcc...@gmail.com.  They are looking for people to help babysit children of UMD students who decided not to have an abortion (so they can study, etc).  As he says, "We're now collecting info for volunteer babysitters for Terps for Life. Once we have enough volunteers, we'll have a CPR and first-aid training session. If you could send out an announcement that we need as many volunteers as possible, that would be fantastic -- we just need the name, email, year, and phone number of each volunteer."  

SO WHERE DO YOU FIND THESE CALENDARS?

They will be posted to the CSC website shortly. I will also send an email with attachments to the google group- if you want to receive calendars in the future via email, sign-up on google with the group CSC Terps Community Service.
