New Semester Information

Welcome back to University of Maryland for the 2010-2011 school
year! I can't believe I'm already a junior and living off campus,
and my guess is that each of you are experiencing and noticing tons
of changes too. Well, despite these changes, I hope you keep one
thing constant-- hanging out and doing service with us here at CSC
Terps Community Service! Thank you for all the service you did last
year for our community. I heard nothing but good things from
everyone we worked with.
So for this semester, details are still being formed. I'm making
calls and sending emails today to set up weekly service with Little
Friends for Peace, monthly excursions with Elder Buddies, trips for
trail maintenance with Rock Creek Park, and new service too. Let me
know if there are any things you want to do that we haven't done
before- this is a committee made up of YOU. I just send emails
letting people know what's going on. Speaking of, I will send out
emails as plans are made so stay tuned to this email or to facebook.
And lastly, if you love me and the CSC and God and freshmen
(hopefully not in that order), you should come help with freshmen
move in this Friday, starting around 10am and going until about 2pm.
We're handing out water bottles and just welcoming people to campus.
It's gonna be fun! Email me if you want in (with what time you're
coming) and I'll let the group know.
