End of Semester STUFF

Hey y'all-

I hope you all have had a great time this semester serving the community and meeting some awesome new friends (... besides me of course, that's a given :) ) Here's the plan for the rest of the semester:

November 30th- Little Friends for Peace, meet at Metro Bus stop outside of Stamp at 3:30

December 2nd- Potential Final Meeting at the CSC at 6:45 (I'm still waiting to hear from Ann or Fr. Kyle for confirmation)

December 4th- Elder Buddies, meet at Metro Bus stop outside of Stamp at 1:00

December 7th- Little Friends for Peace, meet at Metro Bus stop outside of Stamp at 3:30

Note for Elder Buddies- the participants from last time suggest a couple of things: wear dirty clothes, wear a hat or something to cover your head--i'm partial to the bandana, bring a snack and a bottle of water.  IF you have a face mask or want to buy one, bring it.  We are doing very dirty work and you can definitely develop a cough after being in a dirty room for a couple of hours.  I'm going to try to buy some to bring but most likely I'll be using my own money for that so if you have one yourself that would be greatly appreciated. Finally, John suggested NightVision Goggles.  You're going to have to get those yourself. :)

Note for Final Meeting: I really, really, really, want people to come to this so we can all share our community service experiences from this month.  We are busy people and we can't get to all of the events BUT this way we can learn about the people in our community and tell some funny stories.  I also think it's important that you all know each other- because y'all are pretty awesome. Hopefully the meeting will be shorter than last time- basically we will hang out and tell stories and I'll give some quick information about second semester service.  SO PUT THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR. got it? 

I think that's it.  But eh, there may be another email somewhere along the way.  I like to write- I'm an English major.  You'll have to forgive me.
