I put a file with my horse model.

How are your projects going?

My project is going but very slowly. I think I worked out all the particle issues.  The movement is not really how I want it yet but they are moving at the right direction.  I guess I need to look into some turbulence effect or something.  I will put a file up once I have it all fixed up.  I will check out your file tonight too. Sounds like your modeling is coming along.

I am just starting on the animation. I hope to get my horse
moving today.

If you have the particles going, try to work on the rest of
the animation, athmosphere, light, sound... You can always
come back to refine the movement!

Hi Anne,

I started working on my environment and background.  I think my animation might be too short.  I think I might need to add some camera moving shots before my particle parts.  Do you know how to add blank frames at the beginning of the animation?  I also have to look at how to add sound too.

Its best to add sound in post-processing i.e final cut pro or After effects. You can also add black frames to the begginning. Don't worry about your animation being too short quality is more important than quantity.

Hi Wendy

if I create an emitter, and go to the particle attribute,
there is a start Frame attribute.

When I set that to 50, the particles don't start until frame
50. Is that what you are looking for? I think exploring your
space with the camera will be interesting. It will establish
more of a contrast with the active part of your animation.
