I am a visual artist. I look forward to learning Maya in the hopes
that I could create digital work where real life version would be cost
prohibitive. It is exiting to venture into a new teritory! Look
forward to get to know all members of our class group.

My background is in Engineering, in data processing. I work part time
in a lab where folks study face recognition, and I am a caregiver to
my mother who cannot be left alone any more.

I have taken a previous course in Maya animation, but learning Maya
was too frustrating, and I ended up doing all the assignments in mel
so at least once I figured out some way of doing things, I would be
able to redo it easily.

This time I am trying to use the interface rather than mel, and hope
to learn modeling and character animation.
