Hello Dave,
All database issues have been resolved. I had them move us to a different server/cluster.
I removed all connectivity restrictions to the database.
NOTE: server name is new, user names are new, databases are new(I recreated them) ACTUALY only the prefix changed. I have update the prod/test.consultcity.com site with MySQL Workbench configuration information. I have tested the connectivity. Please test and reload.
Sorry for the delay. It took a while to get hold of a sysadmin.

Tonight--the project!
Welcome back, I
hope your vacation was a good one. Your faithful System
Engineering Team did a lot of work during vacation, as you
will see tonight.
Tonight we start the project!
We will have a description of the business and how it works,
and how this application will serve the business. The
System Engineering Team has been working hard and will talk
about how the project will be organized.
We will form three teams: Finance, Sales and Service,
responsible for three parts of the application.
Each team is to be composed of people of varying levels of
skill; we can't have all the experienced people on the same
team. In addition, the teams are to be of varied
nationality; we can have teams composed of single
nationalities or totally dominated by one nationality.
Following the discussions, we'll take a break and you form
the teams. Each team should name one coordinator who will
provide me information about the makeup of the team. Each
team is to have programmers, a QA person who is responsible
for the quality and understandibility of the code, and a
test person who is responsible for certifying that the code
that's delivered is fully working. Each team is to choose
one member of the SET to be their liaison and get the
agreement of that person to be liaison.
The SET will let you know how to make code deliveries. The
first delivery is a week from today. At each delivery, each
team will receive a grade based on whether the code does
what it is required to do and whether it works correctly.
You can receive a grade only for code that works on the
instance that is maintained by the SET. "Working" on your
PC is not of interest and receives no credit. We will have
a series of deliveries to be made.
See you tonight!
