I hope by now we have realised that petty negated mobilization against personalities with an agenda for the general good of the student body far much superceeds the later. In this regard I'd like to challenge the entire ACS leadership to make good your promises of more diversified activities to students from the department of computer science. We'r a quarter-way through the second semester and nothing tangible in terms of activities has been done. While attending Departmental Board meeting and airing your views to the heads is important, It goes without saying that Computer Science just like Information Technology are practical courses and students have to be given the opportunity to participate in events. You are the ones to organize such events. My personal thought. Katieno.

I would like to take responsibility for the ACS leadership. First let
me apologize for the lack of substantial evidence of our progress. We
have tried all our best to have you people enjoy CS in MMUST but all
have proved futile. We have had problems with the department due to
the many departmental activities planned during this academic year. We
have also given a try to have events hosted with the money we have but
it has ended up being so little event just for a guest. So I would
like to call for your patience as we try to have something good for
us.
Putting the record straight we have nothing against anyone or a
group of people. Wish you all a happy festive season as we prepare for
the year ahead.

My View:
This is to show that I am likewise not contended with, not only the
activities at the Department, but also with the university at large.
Please advice... if we would be diverse in our activities we would
have learnt much along... tis only Mr Karume en Mr Omieno whom I see
to be serious persons... If they are not in class then they are held
up somewhere.
Yes, we need a change ah... ni bidii zetu personally that makes us
learn and discover! Field of computing means practicals!!

am sorry if i abused anyone. i still insist that the entire ACS
leadership needs to be more decisive in it's handling of club
activities. The university and thus the department cannot sponsor all
activities you have to get to the corporate world as we did with,
akirachix, infodev, mobile garage and lake hub to make some of these
events a rality, over-reliance on the department for sponsorship willl
do no good. Oh, and shiundu i dont get personal with serious issues
1st, 2nd and 3rd years are not my responsibility...as an official of
the club they are practically your respopnsibility. Get down to work
my dear friend...personally i have a clear consience about my
contibution to my fellow studentss and particularly computer science
and it students. Happy new year 2014.
