Cal Sailing Club Cruise Announcement Cruise information is below. You can signup for this cruise by clicking here (you must be signed in to the website to use this link).

On Saturday August 3, 2024
Meet at J-dock at 9:30 PM. Estimated return time is 6:00 PM.

Skipper(s): David Fraser (teacli...@gmail.com), David Fawcett (dfaw...@gmail.com), Christian Bauer (cwb...@lbl.gov)

Boats: Sea Horse, Daisy, Merit

Cruise Description

Cruise to Point San Pablo Harbor in Richmond with the 2 David F's!

Saturday August 3, 2024

Dock Time 0930. Meet at J-dock ready to go with complete foulies and pfd.

IMPORTANT UPDATE! Senior Skipper Christian Bauer joins Cruising Skippers David Fraser and David Fawcett with a Merit 25, adding four spots to the crew list. Christian has promised to behave, mostly.

We'll sail north to this tiny marina that hides a fun liveaboard community, some giant artwork, a goat farm with electrified fence, and a terrific eatery, the Sailing Goat. Live music is a possibility.

The trip (now 3 boats) should take 2-3 hours. Bring snacks, water, and money for lunch. Dress in WARM layers for the cold Bay. Expected return is around 1800, but it all depends on the wind.

Only sign up if you really plan to go. If you must cancel, remove your entry from the signup list and EMAIL (above) ALL THREE skippers immediately. The club frowns (deeply) on no-shows.

Restaurant: https://www.pspharbor.com/sailinggoat

More info later.

Welcome aboard! David F. and David F. [and Christian]

Out of consideration to fellow club members who may be on the waiting list and to skippers who work hard organizing these cruises, only sign up if you (and your guest) are committed to attend. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you must subsequently cancel, remove your name (and guest's) from the cruise sign-up list asap, even if you are on the wait list. We have had too many cases of people signing up and canceling at the last minute, or simply not showing up. This is not cool; don't do it.
