On Sunday August 17, 2025
Meet at Dinghy Yard at 9:00 AM. Estimated return time is 6:00 PM.

Skipper(s): Memo, Josh, Steph, Mark

Boats: T1, T2, V1, V2

Cruise Description

We will depart at 10AM and ride the flood to China Camp.  We'll spend some time on the beach and then head back around 4pm.  We're planning to return about 7pm (return times are never guaranteed, and could be much later).

This cruise is a lot of fun, but it is a long day involving strong currents and strong winds.  Because of that, every boat will have at least two seniors on it.  Experienced juniors will be allowed with approval by Memo or Josh and at a minimum will need a senior to vouch for them.

Would love to have a keelboat escort- if interested please email Memo.

-- Cruising Seniors please email Memo to reserve a boat
-- Seniors - please sign up for cruise
-- Juniors - please  sign up for cruise and I will follow up on logistics.
Bring water, food to share, sunscreen, wetsuit, radio (if you have one) foulies sun glasses and a hat.  You must have a whistle and waterproof flashlight attached to your PFD.

We'll have a mandatory boat repair party the week before. Plan to be there with your crew to thoroughly inspect the boat.

Memo & Josh

Out of consideration to fellow club members who may be on the waiting list and to skippers who work hard organizing these cruises, only sign up if you (and your guest) are committed to attend. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you must subsequently cancel, remove your name (and guest's) from the cruise sign-up list asap, even if you are on the wait list. We have had too many cases of people signing up and canceling at the last minute, or simply not showing up. This is not cool; don't do it.

If your plans change, and you cannot make a cruise for which you've signed up, please remove yourself right away. If you don't, you'll create more work for the skippers after the lottery closes, and you will also affect other members who are on the wait list.
